Humber Cultural Connectors Events (Virtual)
Because every interaction is intercultural! It is a key competence for anyone interacting in a multicultural environment either at home or abroad.
- Have an introduction to intercultural development and deepen your understanding of social and cultural diversity
- Have a space to explore your own identities and academic/workplace expectations in a global environment
- Discuss, reflect and engage with speakers and participants from Humber and around the world

Intercultural Development Workshop I

In this Intercultural Awareness workshop, we will explore the relationship between our own culture, language and communication, and personal identity. The workshop will introduce the cultural diversity that exists in our daily interactions with the community and our peers. Through this session, you will learn how to build intercultural capacity and reflect on your ongoing experiences.

Building on your experiential learning from the first intercultural session, Intercultural II will dive deeper into cultural skills in action, in classrooms, the workplace, and at-home and in the larger community. In this workshop, you will openly reflect on your implicit bias and intercultural conflict management. You will receive tools to support dialogue and receiving feedback in your interactions.
