KEA sends and receives both academic and administrative staff members.
Staff mobility is a unique opportunity for teaching staff and administrative staff members to experience another culture and exchange ideas with international colleagues by spending a short period of time at a partner institution abroad. The purpose of the mobility can be teaching and/or training.
The stay contributes to the individual staff member’s professional development, helps create a professional and international network, and makes you discover new ways of working within your field of expertise.
Staff mobility should also benefit KEA as a whole through the new inspiration and professional and cultural insights staff members bring back with them. Staff mobility is an integral part of KEA’s international strategy and can play an important role in relationship building with partner institutions.
Outgoing staff mobility refers to academic or administrative staff members from KEA participating in staff mobility at an institution abroad.
Incoming staff mobility refers to academic or administrative staff members from an institution abroad participating in staff mobility at KEA.
Please note: Conferences, meetings and similar activities, including – for academic staff members – visits to (potential) partner institutions that do not involve teaching and other professional development activities do not count as staff mobility.
