IADE has a central location in Lisbon and is furthermore the largest school of design in Portugal.
Located close to the waterfront and the old historical centre of the dynamic and historical city of Lisbon, IADE is an acknowledged design school in Portugal offering a wide array of courses within Design, Marketing, Advertising and Photography. Students going to IADE should be open-minded as to the selection of classes as the English level varies a lot from class to class.
Student accommodation is easy to obtain (i.e. private apartments in the city centre), and Lisbon is a very affordable city compared to Copenhagen. We recommend this school for independent students with an interest in exploring Portuguese culture while studying abroad.
"I enjoyed every bit of my stay in Lisbon even though many things were quite different than expected. Things were mainly different because of corona and the school work but it didn’t ruin my experience at all as Portugal is such a lovely, beautiful and welcoming country.
