Hamburg is a vibrant city with almost 2 million inhabitants and it is known for its great harbour, canals and lake. Culturally you will find a very diverse scene ranging from classical art in the many museums and the newly opened Concert Hall to punk and alternative art in the St. Pauli neighbourhood. With over 20 higher education institutions in the city, there is a large student population and lots of student-friendly events year-round.
At Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, you will study in one of their many English language programs (unless otherwise stated) and you can enjoy being part of a large international community of students.

If you speak German you will have a wider selection of courses
Notice that the Winter Semester (our fall) starts late and continues into the beginning of February. Students travelling this semester will need to move their internship a week or two to accommodate exams in Hamburg.
