Fashion Institute of Design and Management (FIDM) is a small, private institute, which educates students within fashion, graphics, Interior design and the entertainment industry.
Urban pioneers in education, the FIDM institute is a young and vibrant college with four campuses. Yearly it welcomes around 70.000 graduates worldwide. Situated in cultural, financial and commercial center of Southern California. Each of these campuses is strategically located for optimal visual stimulation and immersion in California`s entertainment, fashion and action sports industries with plentiful business hubs.
At FIDM, they believe in a dynamic classroom approach that integrates knowing and doing. Via Classroom Partner Projects and FIDM SuperLabs™, students generate innovative design and business solutions for top brands, giving students the opportunity to collaborate with companies, build their portfolios, and put what they’re learning in the classroom to work.

Good to know
- The exchange agreement covers a maximum of 2 students a year.
- FIDM operates with quarters instead of semesters, and exchange students from KEA may thus apply for two consecutive quarters (i.e. quarter 3+4 from January-June).
