Tomas Bata University is named after one of the world's biggest multinationals retailed in footwear who started his factory in Zlín. Much of Zlín is built after his directions as Tomas Bata was one of the pioneers of employee welfare and social advancement programs and he focused especially on his hometown in Czechia.
Of course Tomas Bata University offers degrees in shoe design, but as a KEA student you will be able to take advantage of classes in animation, digital design, advertising design, graphic design, audiovisual arts, and computer science their large selection of English language modules.
"I find every single subject interesting, but I especially enjoyed making a poster on Graphic design, as it was a part of a real exhibition. It was a great experience to show my work to the world. Even the process of creating a poster was entertaining and taught me a lot. I had to find information about historical events, which was the theme of the exhibition, rent and arrange a window case, take pictures, make an animation in After Effects and then upload it to the Artivive. It was really rewarding to see, how many people watched the poster via their mobiles"

- Students in the Multimedia Communications Faculty can take a maximum of two Studio classes. The rest of the classes should be theoretical classes.
