Purchase College is the State University of New York's dedicated arts college and has a long and proud tradition within fine arts education.
Purchase College is located in the centre of 500 acres of open fields and sprawling forests, about 30 miles (or a short train ride) north of New York City. Here you can get the real American College experience by living on a campus with all the facilities such as a sports centre, concert hall, coffee shops and restaurants and tons of student-run associations.
At Purchase, you will be taking classes from their New Media program where the focus is on the production and experience of digital media. Although American colleges often have a more traditional classroom setting many of the New Media classes are in the studio format where you will be able to put theory into practice.
