NSCAD is a design school founded in 1887 with a rich history and a long tradition for educating students in arts and design - it is one of the oldest independent cultural institutions in Canada. NSCAD is committed to community engagement, art, culture, equity and diversity.
The school is located at the waterfront of the city of Halifax, which is an economic and technological hub and a boomtown in Canada. The campus has excellent student facilities and an inspiring environment.
