NHL Stenden’s main campus is located in Leeuwarden - a relaxed and friendly student town. NHL offers a wide variety of programmes for exchange students. At the university, you will be provided practical education with strong links to the professional field. Studies are organized in small and personal groups of students.
Leeuwarden is a town with a population of around 100,000, located in the north-western part of the Netherlands, about a 90-minute drive from Amsterdam and just 30 minutes from the North Sea coast. It is a bustling college town with a student population of more than 20,000 and year-round events organised especially for students.
The NHL campus is very impressive and provides access to modern facilities such as computer labs, Wi-Fi, a library, tons of individualized group facilities, a 3D printing lab, several cafés and restaurants, and outdoor gardens.

- All of NHL's programs are taught from the principle of Design Based Education and students should be prepared to work mainly on projects during the exchange semester.
