Birmingham City University
Non-EU Exchange
Birmingham City University offers great facilities and practice-oriented teaching.
Brand new campus in the heart of Birmingham with a large variety of architectural design and digital facilities. For Jewelry students, Birmingham City offers several interesting classes not offered at KEA. Generally, you will find a good student-teacher ratio (small class sizes). The university prides itself to have a very practical approach and a close contact to the industries - very similar to Kea. The student population is relatively young and characterized by the multicultural community in Birmingham.
Birmingham is filled with student-friendly events and venues: You can explore the extensive canal system (the city boasts over 56 km of canals) that has great restaurants and bars with a relaxed hipster vibe, you can visit the impressive public library, go shopping in the Bullring mall, or attend events organized by the excellent Student Union community. "The university is placed in The Jewellery Quarter. It’s a lovely area with a lot of different jewellery stores and jewellery factories."
